![]() ![]() Most versatile maybe, but to deserve to be qualified as the "best sound Creative labs manufactured", it would need to outperform other Creative products at least in terms of sound quality, which is the first and foremost criterion upon which sound cards should be judged, IMHO. ĮDIT : Longest supported does not necessarily equate with "best" or even good, IMHO. I reviewed Creative's Audigy Platinum Ex in SOS November 2001, and found it to be a huge improvement over the popular but ageing Soundblaster Live card, providing new 24-bit converters, low-latency ASIO drivers, and for the first time ever on a budget soundcard, Firewire ports. Have you tried the Audigy RX drivers ? AFAIK, it uses the same EMU chip as the Audigy 2ZS. Creative Labs have updated their popular Audigy 2 soundcard, improving its audio performance and adding new features. Unless someone knows where to get WIn-10 drivers for this sound card ? I will have to say this was the best sound Creative labs manufactured. ![]() Since this sound card was supported for such a long time.
